Purpose "
The ICC CH-FL UA promotes relations between the participating districts in order to strengthen friendship and cultural understanding, create networks across borders, and promote peace.
It is guided by the recommended activities listed in the CoP:
- Mutual visits to participating countries and homes
- Establishing and strengthening friendships and projects by connecting clubs and districts in different countries
- Contributing to world peace
- Exchange of best practices for establishing new clubs
- Developing partnership or twin club relationships
- Organization of friendship exchanges
- Initiating and implementing international and professional service projects
The initiation and implementation of joint projects are a high priority, particularly in the following areas"
- Medical aid: provision of medical equipment, medicines, ambulances, telemedicine, vehicles for patient transport, and rehabilitation measures.
- Energy supply: Delivery of medium/small generators, solar panels, and warm clothing.
- Water supply: Construction of facilities to provide clean water.
- Support for children, young people, and mothers: Projects for children, young people, and their mothers (health, education, care).
- Education and social support: Support for schools and social institutions.
- Refugee and internally displaced persons assistance: Promotion of projects to employ refugees and internally displaced persons and support their integration.
- Risk reduction and mine clearance: Projects to reduce the dangers posed by explosive remnants of war such as mines, unexploded ordnance, and booby traps.
- Networking: Development of a network of partner clubs (twin clubs) for sustainable cooperation.
